Under Mr. Patel’s leadership, KP Group has achieved notable milestones, delivering over 1GW of green energy and reducing carbon emissions by more than 1.3 lakh tonnes in FY23 alone. The group continues to lead with its cutting-edge renewable energy solutions, focusing on both solar and wind power.

KPI Green Energy Limited: Pioneering Solar and Hybrid Solutions

KPI Green Energy Limited, one of the group’s two listed companies, specializes in providing renewable energy solutions, particularly in solar and hybrid energy. As an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) developer, KPI Green Energy is driving India’s transition to clean energy. The company owns and operates Gujarat’s largest private solar park, Solarism, located in Bharuch, and has an expansive land bank of over 1,500 acres in the region.

KPI Green Energy is on track to commission more than 1,000 MW of solar power by 2025. To date, the company has already energized 310+ MW under both IPP (Independent Power Producer) and CPP (Captive Power Producer) verticals. In addition, KPI Green Energy has made significant strides in wind energy, having installed the first wind turbine in Kora village, Bharuch, and is now exploring further opportunities for wind turbine installations and hybrid energy solutions in South Gujarat. The company recently commissioned a 60 MW hybrid project in Bhungar, Bhavnagar.

KP Energy: Leading Wind Farm Development in Gujarat

The other listed company, KP Energy, is renowned as Gujarat’s No. 1 BOP (Balance of Plant) solutions provider for wind farms. Established in 2010, KP Energy boasts a team of over 1,000 skilled professionals across various technical, commercial, and corporate functions.

KP Energy is actively involved in every stage of wind farm development, from conceptualization to commissioning. The company has successfully energized 610+ MW as an EPC service provider and has 1,180 MW in the pipeline. Additionally, KP Energy has installed Gujarat’s tallest windmills, standing at 132 meters with a capacity of 2.7 MW each. The company has also installed India’s first 140-meter tall windmill with a 2.7 MW capacity.

KP Buildcon: Supporting Solar Projects and Infrastructure Development

KP Buildcon, another group entity, operates a manufacturing plant in Dabhasa, Vadodara, with a capacity to produce over 30,000 tonnes for galvanizing and transmission line tower fabrication. The company has played a significant role in Gujarat’s first solar park at Charanka, contributing to over 100 MW of solar projects. KP Buildcon is also equipped to manufacture solar MMS (Module Mounting Structure) for various solar installations.

Environmental Conservation Initiatives

The company has undertaken several environmental conservation initiatives, including the plantation of over 5 lakh trees and mangroves across Gujarat, as well as the greenification of over 1.5 km of the Bhatar canal road.
