An necessary assembly of the Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress was held on Wednesday (March 27, 2024) night for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. A complete of 18 names have been accepted in the assembly, together with candidates from Uttar Pradesh (UP). The occasion has decided candidates for six Lok Sabha seats in UP and Uttar Pradesh.
It was informed that the names of candidates from Prayagraj, Sitapur, Ghaziabad, Mathura, Maharajganj and Bulandshahr seats of the state have been accepted. Virendra Chaudhary from Maharajganj, Dali Sharma from Ghaziabad, Nakul Dubey from Sitapur, Ujjwal Raman Singh, son of former SP chief Revati Raman Singh from Prayagraj can get the ticket.
