KIFI Association’s 1st National Kudo Championship and Training Camp sees Over 600 Participants from Across India – Primex News Network

Kudo International Federation India Hosts 1st National Kudo Championship in Pune

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], May 8 – The Kudo International Federation India (KIFI ASSOCIATION), recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, successfully organized its 1st National Kudo Championship and the 59th National Training Camp at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Military School, Pune, from 1st May 2023 to 7th May 2023.

The event, which saw an impressive turnout, was attended by over 600 students and officials from 28 states and union territories of India. The championship highlighted the growing popularity of Kudo, a full-contact martial art that combines various disciplines, in India.

Hanshi Mehul Vora, President of KIFI ASSOCIATION and an 8th Degree Red Belt, expressed his excitement about the success of the event. “This championship marks a significant milestone for Kudo in India, and we are proud to see the tremendous participation and talent from all over the country. The competition was fierce, but the spirit of sportsmanship prevailed,” he stated.

State-wise Winners

The Overall Championship Winner’s Trophy was awarded to Gujarat State, with 83 medalists. Rajasthan State secured the 2nd place with 72 medals, while Maharashtra State claimed the 3rd place with 54 medals.

The event not only served as a platform for showcasing martial arts talent but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie among participants from diverse regions of India.

In the Spotlight: Winners of the 1st National Kudo Championship

Among the standout participants were Zidan Kharadi from Gujarat, Pranshu Vora from Maharashtra, and Hriday Boriawala from Mumbai, who were celebrated for their impressive performances in the championship.

The 1st National Kudo Championship and 59th National Training Camp have set the stage for future Kudo events, aiming to further promote and develop martial arts in India.
