How a Bangalore-based husband-wife duo is making tarot, pranic healing, and energy work accessible to a new generation of seekers
In a city like Bangalore, where the pace of corporate life rarely pauses, an unlikely platform has been quietly drawing thousands of followers, not with productivity hacks or leadership frameworks, but with tarot cards, energy healing, and a deeply human promise: that clarity is possible, even in chaos.
UniqueTarot1111, founded by Dr. Rashmi Muthalkar and co-founded by her husband Gowtham Shravan Kumar, has steadily grown from a personal calling into one of India’s more compelling wellness platforms in the spiritual guidance space. What makes their story stand apart is not just the work they do, but the deeply personal road that led them here.
A Gift She Could Not Ignore
Dr. Rashmi’s journey into spiritual practice did not begin with a conscious choice. It began with something far more difficult: grief and the weight of an unheard instinct.
“I have had intuitive visions since childhood,” she shares, “but there were moments when I either ignored my intuition or lacked the confidence to trust it.” One such moment was when she sensed that something was seriously wrong with her father’s health. He was later diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. “I could neither warn him in time nor save him. That regret stayed with me deeply.”
Rather than retreating from her abilities, that loss became a turning point. Years later, after the birth of her daughter, those intuitive faculties returned with greater intensity. When she had a clear vision that her daughter had pneumonia, a diagnosis initially missed by multiple medical consultations, she insisted on further testing. Pneumonia was detected early, enabling timely treatment and a faster recovery.
“That moment changed everything for me,” she says. “I realised this was a gift, and I had a responsibility to use it to help others.”
She went on to get certified in pranic healing, psychological counselling, and tarot reading, eventually stepping away from her career in dentistry to practice spiritual guidance full-time.
The Storyteller Behind the Brand
While Dr. Rashmi brings the intuitive and healing depth, it is Gowtham Shravan Kumar who translates that depth into something the world can access. A content creator and media professional by background, Gowtham has spent years understanding how ideas travel across screens, communities, and cultures.
“When Dr. Rashmi decided to step into this space professionally, it did not feel like joining a business for me,” he says. “It felt like supporting something that had a larger purpose.”
He was instrumental in launching the brand’s YouTube channel and shaping its voice across social media. But his involvement goes beyond the technical. Gowtham has also trained in tarot reading, and brings what he describes as an analytical and pattern-recognition perspective to complement his wife’s emotional and energetic depth.
“She represents the depth of the work,” he explains, “and I focus on how that depth is communicated to the world.”
When Two Readings Become One Truth
One of the more compelling testimonials to their combined approach came from a client who separately asked Gowtham, during a personal reading, whether her partner was karmically connected to her. She later posed the same question to Dr. Rashmi, independently, during a YouTube live session. Both gave the same answer, without any prior discussion between them.
Moments like these, their clients say, are what build trust in a field where scepticism is natural and often warranted. “That alignment often becomes a turning point,” says Gowtham. “Because it builds trust in the process.”
Burnout, Bangalore, and the Search for Meaning
A significant portion of UniqueTarot1111’s clientele comes from high-pressure corporate environments: founders, managers, and professionals navigating the particular exhaustion that comes with ambition in India’s tech capital.
“The most common patterns we see are burnout, lack of clarity, emotional exhaustion, and a disconnect from purpose,” says Gowtham. Dr. Rashmi’s sessions focus on identifying and healing the emotional and energetic blocks that contribute to these patterns. “Through her work, individuals are able to slow down, process what they are going through, and reconnect with a sense of direction and balance.”
Crucially, both are clear about the place of their work within a broader framework. “These healings and readings are meant to be a form of support, not a replacement for science or practical action,” says Dr. Rashmi. “Sometimes, when science cannot provide all the answers, our work helps individuals process their experiences. We do not claim to fix lives. We help people build acceptance, shift internally, and gain clarity.”
Making the Mystical Mainstream
One of the platform’s quiet strengths is its refusal to drift into inaccessible mysticism. Concepts like Akashic Records or energy healing are presented not as esoteric doctrine, but as tools for self-awareness and reflection: frameworks that help people recognise patterns in their own behaviour and relationships.
“I naturally tend to look at things from a logical and structured perspective,” says Gowtham, “which helps us bridge the gap between spirituality and mainstream understanding.”
This approach appears to be resonating. Their content, spanning YouTube videos, Instagram reels, and live sessions, has built a community of followers who return not for predictions, but for perspective.
A Family Brand With a Global Vision
Both founders speak of the next chapter with measured ambition. “Our vision for UniqueTarot1111 over the next three to five years is to reach and support more people globally,” says Dr. Rashmi. “We aim to make our work more accessible while continuing to spread kindness, awareness, and emotional healing at a larger scale.”
For Gowtham, the goal is to evolve the platform from a content destination into something more immersive: structured learning, deeper community experiences, and what he describes as a space where people “do not just consume content, but genuinely experience clarity, healing, and transformation.”
Their foundation, they both agree, is the inner work they continue to do themselves. The couple’s own journey through inner child healing, undertaken, they say, with the original goal of simply becoming better parents, became the bedrock of everything UniqueTarot1111 now offers.
“We strongly believe that if we cannot apply healing and balance within our own lives, we cannot truly guide others,” says Dr. Rashmi. “So we begin with ourselves first, and then extend that understanding outward.”
In a landscape increasingly crowded with wellness content, that self-awareness may well be their most credible offering.
