In Güneysu, Rize province, Ali İhsan Solak, a retired man with a passion for flowers, has given old boots a second life by turning them into colourful flower pots. He has hung 40 of these boots on a wall opposite his house, where they grow flowers, vegetables and strawberries, attracting the curiosity of passers-by.
Solak plans to expand the project by decorating the entire wall with more plants.
