Jithen Arun: The 11-Year-Old Drumming Prodigy Who Is Captivating Audiences Worldwide
New Delhi (India), June 16: Jithen Arun, an 11-year-old prodigy from Bangalore, is making waves in the music world with his extraordinary drumming skills and unbridled passion. Recently, he mesmerized an audience of elite cardiac surgeons at the Sri Siddhartha Advanced Heart Care Center & Kardiac Frontida in Tumkur, showcasing his talent in front of the best in the medical field. Jithen’s performances have captivated audiences across India, earning him accolades and solidifying his place as a rising star in the world of music.
Jithen’s love for drumming was inspired by Sugarfoot, the legendary drummer known for working with music icons like Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Elton John. Beginning his musical journey at the age of seven, Jithen fearlessly performed heavy metal music, a genre not typically associated with someone his age. His ability to replicate the performances of renowned drummers has earned him rave reviews from both musicians and audiences.
Jithen’s talent has been on full display at several prominent events across the country. One of his most memorable performances took place on the shores of Vasco Da Gama Beach in Fort Kochi, where he captivated the crowd for a remarkable three hours. Additionally, his performance at SMS, the first B-school in South India, drew a staggering crowd of over 3,000 people, forcing the gates to be closed due to the overwhelming response. His ability to electrify such a large audience further solidified his status as a crowd favorite.
One of the highlights of Jithen’s journey was his workshop at the Kochi Muziris Biennale, the largest contemporary art festival in Asia. As one of the youngest conductors at this prestigious event, Jithen’s involvement in the workshop marked a significant milestone in his burgeoning career.
Jithen’s impressive achievements have also garnered attention from various media outlets. He has made appearances on popular radio shows in India and abroad, including Club FM 94.3 and Dubai Club FM 99.6. Jithen’s parents shared their pride, stating, “It was an honor to see our child perform in front of such eminent surgeons.” The three-day coronary workshop, led by Dr. Prof. Milind Hote from AIIMS, India’s first robotic cardiac surgeon, and Dr. Tameem Ahmed, Medical Director of Kardiac Frontida, was attended by top cardiac surgeons from across India.
