DEHN India Announces Leadership Changes, Appoints New Management Team
Gurugram (Haryana), June 15: DEHN INDIA, a subsidiary of DEHN SE, a globally recognized leader in electrical engineering, has announced a significant shift in its leadership. Dr. Vikas Almadi, the current Managing Director, will transition to an advisory role starting July 1, 2023. As part of this change, Samir Shankar has been appointed as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), and Manoj Rathee as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Leadership Transition and Future Growth

Dr. Almadi, a pioneering figure in the lightning and surge protection industry in India, has been instrumental in establishing DEHN’s Indian subsidiary and promoting the concept of Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) in the country. Under his leadership, DEHN India became the market leader in lightning protection, surge protection, and earthing solutions.

Introducing the New Leadership Team
Samir Shankar, who holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Punjab Technical University, has been with DEHN India for over 9 years. With a strong background in sales, customer relationship management, and business development, Samir brings a wealth of experience to his new role as Chief Sales Officer. His expertise in sales strategy and forecasting positions him well to drive growth and ensure customer success.
Manoj Rathee, who holds MBAs in Sales and Finance, brings extensive knowledge in operations, SAP, and project management. As the new Chief Operating Officer, Manoj will oversee DEHN India’s day-to-day operations, focusing on improving local processes and driving efficiency. He previously led operations at DEHN India, successfully applying his knowledge in multinational companies to the role.
