EC Files Case Against Yathindra: The Election Commission has registered a case towards Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's son Yathindra. He had given controversial statements towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, about which the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) had complained to the Election Commission. The Election Commission has registered this grievance towards Yatindra on Tuesday (02 April) at Hanur police station in Chamarajanagar district.
Hennur Police Inspector Shashi Kumar mentioned that the grievance filed by Gundu Rao, Flying Squad Wing Sector Officer of the Election Workplace, sought applicable motion towards Yatindra for his derogatory speech. In keeping with the grievance, Yatindra made objectionable remarks towards Amit Shah, which violated the Mannequin Code of Conduct (MCC).
What did Yatindra say?

Talking at a Congress assembly in Chamarajanagar district on March 28, Yatindra had mentioned, “Amit Shah is accused of homicide in Gujarat and has a background in felony actions however now, he’s holding an enormous submit within the nation.” On March 29, BJP filed a grievance towards Yatindra with the Election Commission.
After the Election Commission's grievance, Yatindra mentioned, “I’ve quoted no matter allegations have been already made towards him (Amit Shah). I didn’t exaggerate. I gave a correct reply to the Election Commission.” Defending him, Mysuru District Congress Committee President R Murthy mentioned that Yathindra's feedback weren’t new as his feedback have been based mostly on earlier police information.”
What did BJP say?
Reacting to the allegations, BJP district unit president CS Niranjana Kumar mentioned, “His remarks have been a private assault towards a Union minister. The courtroom had already acquitted Shah of all of the instances, then how can anybody name him a goon?”
