The festival was organised in association with the internationally recognized NGO ‘Brotherhood’ and with the support of UNESCO and UN Information Centre.

As part of the We Care Film Festival, many award-winning Indian and international films like Fighting in the Wheels, Fish & I, Respiration, Speechless, to name a few, were screened. These movies hit the right chord with the audiences who not only appreciated the artistic merit of these movies but were moved about the multiple levels of challenges that the differently abled have to face.

Specially-abled children from Ashish Foundation showcased a mesmerising fashion show while winning the hearts of the audience who gave the participants a standing applause.

The festival also showcased a photography & painting exhibition on the concerned theme. The key coordinators of the entire event were PG Diploma students of Corporate Communication and Event Management at AIMC.
