This increased production capacity will cater to the growing needs of both the Loidapada and Anra plants, which together now consume over 2 million tonnes of iron ore annually.
The Khandbandh mines operate on a three-shift schedule using advanced mechanized opencast mining techniques. The process includes drilling, blasting, sorting, sizing, and blending to ensure high-quality iron ore production. Key equipment like hydraulic drills, excavators, dumpers, and tippers are used to enhance operational efficiency.
