An interesting information has come to light about Shahrukh Khan director Rajkumar Hirani’s Machwete film Danki. The film is set to release in the month of December this year. Before this, even the smallest information related to this film starts becoming viral as soon as it comes on social media. Now the news is that the digital versions of this film have been sold at a very high price. It is reported that the post release digital streaming rights deal of this film starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani has been cracked by OTT platform Jio Cinema. Not only this, Jio Cinema has paid a hefty amount to the makers to buy the rights of this film. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Jio Cinema has bought the digital streaming rights of Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu starrer director Rajkumar Hirani’s film for a whopping Rs 155 crore. Not only this, it is reported that with this Shah Rukh Khan’s deal for the digital rights of this film has left behind the deal for his film Jawan. According to the information received, where Jawan’s post release digital streaming rights have been sold for Rs 120 crores. Whereas, the digital rights of Danky have been sold for Rs 35 crore more i.e. Rs 155 crore. According to the report, a close source said that this is the biggest deal finalized in any language of Indian cinema so far. Not only this, earlier there were reports that the digital and satellite rights of both superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s films Jawan and Danki have been sold at a record price. There were reports that the digital and satellite rights of both Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan and Danky have been sold for around Rs 480 crore. Out of which Rs 250 crore was for Jawan while Danki’s deal was finalized for Rs 230 crore. Jawan’s digital streaming rights have been acquired by Netflix.
