Mrs Minu Kalita From Assam Gets Awarded The Executive President Medal By MIT-WPU After Graduating At The Age Of 44

Mrs Kalita also wins a gold medal for securing the 1st rank as she completed her graduation with B.Ed. from MIT-WPU Pune

In an achievement that made Assam proud, Mrs Minu Kalita gets awarded the Executive President Medal and a gold medal for securing the 1st rank at the 4th Convocation Ceremony of MIT World Peace University (WPU), Pune. The ceremony was attended by Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Government of India.

Mrs Kalita was awarded the medals for her exemplary performance and academic achievements while completing her B.Ed. Graduation at the age of 44. She is the mother of a proud son who is studying Computer Engineering in Pune and the wife of a proud husband who works as a Commercial Director in Africa.

Mrs Kalita had decided to pursue her lifelong passion of becoming an educator by completing her graduation when the COVID crisis hit the country. Since graduating, she has been teaching the 9th grade at PICT Model School, Pune and living her dream of becoming a skilled educator.

Being awarded the Executive Presidential Medal, Mrs Kalita sends a message to all women who think it is too late to have a fresh start in life. She says, “No achievement is too difficult if you have the right passion for it. Never let age be a hurdle between you and your dreams. Let my achievement be the driving force for every woman who has ever dreamt of living life on her terms!”

Mrs Minu Kalita from Assam was awarded the Executive President Medal by MIT-WPU after graduating at the age of 44. Mrs Kalita is a working mother who has been praised for her hard work and determination in completing her degree. Mrs Kalita said that she was honoured to receive the award and that it was a dream come true. She said that she hopes to inspire other working mothers to pursue their dreams and never give up.
