KP Group Breaks Records with the Simultaneous Installation of Seven Windmills in South Gujarat

Surat (Gujarat) [India], May 13KPI Green Energy Limited, a leading company in India’s renewable energy sector and the flagship of the KP Group, has achieved a significant milestone with the installation and commissioning of seven wind turbines under the Hybrid Policy in South Gujarat.

This groundbreaking achievement is the result of a scientific approach championed by Mr. Faruk G. Patel, the Chairman and Managing Director of KPI Green Energy Limited. The turbines were installed across various villages in Kora village, Bharuch district, showcasing the expanding potential of renewable energy in the region.

Mr. Patel expressed his appreciation for the business-friendly renewable energy policy of the Government of Gujarat, which played a crucial role in the project’s seamless execution. He also thanked Suzlon and Senvion for their prompt delivery of the turbines and extended special gratitude to Mr. Bakul Limbasia, Promoter of Nouveau Jewellery LLP, for placing trust in his vision and investing in the project.

While regions like Bhavnagar, Porbandar, and Kutch were previously regarded as the most viable areas for wind energy, the KP Group’s initiative has opened new doors in South Gujarat, presenting a promising future for wind energy in the area.

Mr. Patel emphasized that this achievement reflects the region’s potential and plays a significant role in advancing India’s target of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy, as envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The project involves the installation of two turbines for Nouveau Jewellery LLP, Green Lab Diamonds, and Mono Steel under the CPP model, and one turbine for KPI Green Energy Ltd. under the IPP model. Looking ahead, KP Group is committed to continuing its expansion in South Gujarat, aiming for a target of 2 Gigawatts of commissioned energy by 2025.
