Rs 55 lakh for the charges of Mukhtar Ansari’s legal professionals will be recovered from former CM Amarinder Singh and former Jail Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa. In case of non-payment, cash will be deducted from his pension.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann mentioned on Sunday, July 1, that the state government will not pay Rs 55 lakh for retaining Ansari in Punjab jail. This cash will be recovered from former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and former Jail Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa. Mann additional mentioned that if each of them fail to pay the cash, it will be recovered by canceling their pension and different government services.
