Supreme Courtroom on Deputy CM Submit: सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सोमवार (12 फरवरी, 2024) को वह याचिका खारिज कर दी जिसमें अलग-अलग राज्यों में उप-मुख्यमंत्री बनाए जाने के खिलाफ याचिका दी गई थी.
दरअसल, इस मामले में याचिकाकर्ता की ओर से कहा गया था कि डिप्टी-सीएम का पद संविधान में कहीं भी नहीं लिखा है.
सुनवाई के दौरान याचिकाकर्ता की इस दलील पर चीफ जस्टिस बोले- उप-मुख्यमंत्री भी मंत्री ही होता है. पद को कोई नाम दे देने से संवैधानिक प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन नहीं होता है.
