असम मुस्लिम विवाह और तलाक पंजीकरण अधिनियम को निरस्त करने की असम सरकार की मंजूरी पर प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए, समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद एसटी हसन ने शनिवार को कहा कि मुसलमान केवल शरीयत और कुरान का पालन करेंगे.
न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई से बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “इस पर इतनी चर्चा करने की जरूरत नहीं है. मुसलमान शरीयत और कुरान का पालन करेंगे. वे (सरकार) जितने चाहें उतने अधिनियमों का मसौदा तैयार कर सकते हैं. हर धर्म के अपने-अपने रीति-रिवाज होते हैं. इनका पालन हजारों वर्षों से किया जा रहा है. उनका अनुसरण जारी रहेगा.”
